Artwork According to the National Institute for Early Education Research (NIEER), children who attend a high-quality preschool enter kindergarten with better pre-reading skills, richer vocabularies, and stronger basic math skills than those who do not. In a loving, Catholic, family environment, St. Louis preschool serves children ages 3-6. St. Louis offers all-day preschool and extended day.

Special Features About Our Preschools

St. Louis Preschool students enjoy weekly gym classes in the elementary school gym, their own playground area and are served a hot lunch.  In addition, St. Louis Preschool has been making monthly visits to the Louisville Public Library for the library’s story time program for preschool children. Visits to the library are a great way to encourage literacy skills in children, to foster a love of reading and to encourage excitement for an important community service like the local library. St. Louis Preschool students are able to walk to the library for their program which makes the trip exciting for children right from the start, plus the walk serves as a great way to get the wiggles out so they are ready to listen and enjoy the story and craft led by the library staff. St. Louis is especially excited to offer this opportunity to their preschool families, with the hope that it will help in literacy development and prompt families to visit the library regularly with their own library cards for continued reading at home.
